Before becoming a yoga instructor, I worked in special education and nonprofit settings, supporting students and adults with diverse learning, physical, emotional, and sensory needs. These experiences shaped how I understand regulation, behavior, trauma, and the importance of individualized support.
That foundation continues to inform my yoga teaching today. I bring:
- A deep understanding of disability and accessibility
- Experience supporting emotional regulation and nervous-system needs
- A collaborative, strengths-based approach
- Respect for autonomy, consent, and lived experience
My work is especially well-suited for:
- People with physical, developmental, or intellectual disabilities
- Seniors and older adults
- Individuals navigating chronic stress, illness, or pain
- Schools, adult day programs, and nonprofit organizations
- Anyone looking to reconnect with their bodies
